how do people introduce you when they talk about you and your profession?
they say that I'm a couturier, quite simply, that has the merit of being clearer than a stylist or designer.

what is the thing they say about you as a couturier that touches you particularly?
it's not words, but emotions. sometimes i can make people cry with emotion during a fashion show. it's very touching. to hear people say that i made them happy, that i made them want to go on a colour, to reinterpret a garment, a volume. every season to reinterpret a style to go further and try it on.

what's the most important thing in your job?
to please people first. to be able to do only what I want to do, to have the freedom not to listen to everyone. to be creative is to choose to be free, it's taking a risk, to have your own point of view and adhere to it no matter what.

le gramme is a lifestyle brand for men, it offers essential objects, in your universe precisely what is the iconic element, the one that symbolizes you?
the bow tie. it is the one that made me known at the very beginning, to become a distinctive symbol that I rework year after year. it was for me a form of unisex evidence in terms of accessories, I wanted to give a chance to something that some people considered as corny.

and your objectle gramme, what is it and how do you wear it?
i wear my pieces in pairs, a bracelet on each wrist, like the maharadja in the past, quite simply! the 7g is particularly pretty with the cufflinks of shirts, which it closes with a fine stripe. i sometimes mix them with other jewels, their essential character allows it, they become like tattoos, two threads of silver that do not move.

if itle gramme were a garment ... what would it be?
it would be more like underwear, because it is an intimate jewel. maybe even a beautiful kangaroo briefs.

what's the gift you'd like to receive soon?
a painting by jacob kassay, an artist from new york who makes silver monochromes, among other things. they're like mirrors in which we'll never see each other. i collect mirrors, as well as silverware.

friendship, loyalty, kindness.

where is your favorite place to be at the moment ?
i like hotel bars very much, at the moment the hotel maison chouquet, 10 rue de bruxelles, paris 9e.
