if le gramme were an object or a sculpture, what would it be like?

I can clearly see a cylinder, like the clasp of the cable, on a fairly square or rectilinear base. something very geometric where the roundness of the cylinder would come in opposition to the rigor of the square. it would be very beautiful as a sculpture, perhaps even with the cylinder vertically on a rectangle.

if you had to imagine an interior on le gramme or a piece of furniture, what would it be like?

we can imagine a fairly Parisian interior. a bit in the spirit of this dining room with this large polished metal table, but very stripped of objects, just the essentials. a sort of reinterpretation of Parisian style, but very refined. few objects, but very beautiful graphic things highlighted. we could rework the Parisian moldings but with a contemporary twist, very geometric, no roundness. the parquet floor would also be contemporary.

the creations le gramme and the brand, what does that inspire you?

I was a jewelry stylist before, so I think I have a pretty professional eye for jewelry. I really like the purity and timelessness of Le Gram’s creations. there is a parallel with the pieces that I present at the gallery. we find this same timelessness in these art deco creations. pieces that are still more than 100 years old. I'm thinking in particular of this Jean-Michel Frank pedestal table which is just a line of metal. there is an obvious link, finally, with the bracelets that I particularly like from le gramme.

What do le gram creations inspire you?

with le gramme creations, there is a form of taut and timeless line, which works with all contexts, both a very smart and relaxed lifestyle! I find that there is a writing that is quite universal and at the same time contemporary. It works well with these very expressive jewelry. le gramme is a brand which is open in any case, everyone can find the object that corresponds to them.

your jewelry on le gramme, what are they? how do you wear them?

It was Camille, my partner, who first introduced me to le gramme. she gave me two bracelets from the brand that I never take off. a ribbon 7g and a polished beads 11g. they remind me of valentines, christmas, birthdays, things with her, romantic moments.
I would really like to complete my accumulation with a double turn cable or a larger ribbon.
le gram creations speak to me, especially at the moment with this inspiration for the metal and silver side, which really inspires me. It all makes sense to me, it's pretty aligned.

What do le gram creations inspire you?

I find Le Gram’s creations essential. there are no artifices, only the beauty of the material. I wear my ceramic cable every day. I like the twisted appearance of the cable itself, almost a column.
le gram jewelry is present without being 'show off'. I find them quite virile without being macho and above all very elegant.

What do le gram creations inspire you?
I love this side of highlighting silver, and this time when we all had a bracelet to which we gave a value. In my opinion, this reference to the weight of things, duration, grammage is very intelligent… I like to mix my two gram ribbon bracelets with my lighter fabric bracelets.

What did you like about the Le Gram creations?
I really like things that intersect, I find the scale of the jewels that intersect super pretty, it's really super beautiful. I also really like silver, it’s what I wear the most. there is really something very fine and very elegant with these creations and for example the intertwining chains which intertwine I find that in the symbolism it is super pretty.

what are your objects on le gramme? how do you wear them? I am wearing pieces from the entrelacs collection, a 253g necklace and an 87g bracelet in vintage silver. what I really like about le gramme is the hyper-worked but also mega-raw side of certain jewelry. the creations that I like at le gram are not necessarily those that are clean, it is rather those with the play of textures or materials that will interest me.

le gram is the result of a meeting, that of Adrien Messié and Erwan Le Louër. trained designer, erwan le louër is convinced by the importance of the meaning of the object associated with its aesthetics. He brings together his passion for entrepreneurship and his attention to detail throughout his projects, creating the house Jem Jewelery Ethically Minded in 2008, then the Maison Margiela jewelry license, line 12.
The project of a silver ribbon with a simple shape then takes shape, available in several widths varying its weight. hence, the idea of naming it in the most essential way possible: its weight. the le gram project revolves around creations with elementary shapes, the same shape declined in several sizes depending on its weight, in different materials serving the object. From this common desire to confront the masculine world, le gramme was born, a lifestyle brand aimed at men.

your objects per gram, what are they? how do you wear them? I have several bracelets in brushed black 925 silver, 41g and 33g, and two bracelets from the recent beads collection, 25g. I like the contrast of the latter, between the traditional definition of the pearl necklace and the elemental nature of the precious metal. there too there is this latency time, we don't really know how to react to this hybrid object, so simple and so sensual, with a cold sensuality. I wear my two beads as a necklace and the other bracelets over the wool sleeves. I like the fact that they structure a garment without really being defined as jewelry. I love the serenity and tranquility of le gramme, the perfect line that wraps around the wrist, the simplified design that becomes personal depending on who wears it. how do you carry le gramme? le gramme has this ancestral, heritage, timeless side, like a sign of belonging that we see in the tribes, or the bracelet that accompanies us at birth. it is not at all a bracelet but an experience that must be worn to perceive all its delicacy and potential. le gramme is an essential piece of jewelry whose personality ultimately depends on the wearer. you can't wear it without having personality because it requires success without artifice. this simplicity hides immense strength, and a lot of weight. I have seven bracelets per gram, it may seem like a lot but it's actually barely enough because I have fun putting things together.
