Privacy policy

 

This document deals with the protection of privacy ("Privacy Policy") of the website (the "Site") published by LE GRAMME, a simplified joint stock company registered in the Trade and Companies Register of Paris under the number 789 713 823, whose headquarters are found at 59 rue Beaubourg, 75003 Paris (France) ("LE GRAMME"). 

By using the Site, Users agree to be bound by the Privacy Policy and comply with it. By creating an account, Customers must accept the Privacy Policy. This may be modified or updated at any time without notice. Terms defined in Capital letters have the meaning that is given to them in the GTS.

LE GRAMME collects and uses Personal details that Customers have spontaneously transmitted to it, which is necessary to place an order, or to receive emails containing information from LE GRAMME and those of the Consumers.

Users who simply consult the Site are not required to transmit Personal details.

Customers are required to provide accurate, true and correct personal details and information and should update this data and information as soon as this is necessary, so as to keep it exact and complete.

1. Processing of Customers' Personal Details

LE GRAMME complies with the provisions of the Law n° 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on "Data Protection" and collects and processes Personal Details in a fair and lawful manner Customers, while respecting their rights.

LE GRAMME is responsible for the processing of Personal Details which have been declared to the National Data Protection Commission ("CNIL").

The purpose of the processing is the commercial management of LE GRAMME product orders made through the site www.legramme.com, the sending of emails containing information on news regarding LE GRAMME, business development and analysis of viewers of the Site www.legramme.com.

In no event does LE GRAMME transfer or sell Clients' Personal Details to third parties, except in the cases specified below.

2. Nature of Personal Details collected by LE GRAMME

Personal Details that may be treated are the followings : Customers' full names, mailing address, email address, phone number (optional) and the IP address of the Users for geolocalisation purposes for the commercial prospection.

LE GRAMME uses the Google Analytics service provided by Google Inc., a service to measure site viewers, which is able to collect Users' Personal Details, such as IP addresses. For more information, Users may consult the following website: http://www.google.com/intl/fr/policies/privacy/.

3. Traffic data and cookies

a) Traffic data collected from Users

Traffic data is generated when User terminals are connected to the Internet and the Site.

Such data may be used for statistical purposes in order to conduct traffic analyses of the Site's frequentation and to improve and adapt it to Users needs. Traffic data is always processed anonymously by LE GRAMME.

b) Cookies deposited on User Terminals

LE GRAMME can file cookies files which is stored on Users terminals in order to allow the Site navigation, to geolocalise the Users, to register the Customers’ profiles and to restore the preferences when they are connected through their usual terminal. These small files can contain, for example, the cart and the Customers’ preferences.

LE GRAMME uses Google Analytics, which:

  • collects the following data: source of connections (ISPs), type and version of browser used, browser language, duration of the connection, IP address, etc.;
     
  • stores cookies on the terminals of Users to measure audience levels. The data generated by cookies is transmitted by Google Inc. and is hosted on servers found in the United States. Google Inc. will use this data to assess the Site's use, but will not recuperate the IP addresses of users with any other data held by Google Inc. Google Inc. may also transfer this information to third parties, where required by law, or where such third parties process the information on their behalf.

Users continued consultation of the Site implies their acceptance of the deposit of cookies on their terminals.

LE GRAMME does not keep cookies to track a User or obtain IP addresses for more than thirteen (13) months after the initial deposit (of cookies) on a User's terminal.

Users may at any time delete cookies from their browser and set it up to block their registration on their terminals. LE GRAMME invites them to refer to the help file of their browser software to establish the appropriate set-up. It is not possible to consult the Site without accepting cookies.

4. Protection, saving and removal of Personal Details

a) Security

Personal details provided by Customers is hosted by LE GRAMME.

b) Account Closure and deleting Personal Details

At any time, Customers may request that their Account be closed, which will lead to the removal of associated Personal Details.

Deleting the Account will be effective within two (2) months from the removal request and in any event, will be after any ongoing Order.

c) How long Personal data will be kept

LE GRAMME will retain Customers' Personal Details throughout the period that their account is open and will delete it after the account is closed, pursuant to article 4. b) of the Privacy Policy.

5. Communication from LE GRAMME

LE GRAMME may send to Customers, who have agreed to this, emails to the address associated with their Account to inform them about changes in the website or its activities, or to inform them about technical or administrative information.

In no event will Customers receive emails from third parties or LE GRAMME's partners without their prior permission.

6. Non-transfer of Customers' Personal Details

LE GRAMME is committed not to communicate, assign or transfer to third parties any Personal Details (except for its use by Google Analytics) without the express consent from Customers, although it may disclose such information if it were to be required by law, or in response to a legal or administrative request.

7. Right to access, change or remove Personal Details

According to the Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 "Data protection and freedom of information," LE GRAMME informs Users of their right to access, modify and oppose data processing, and request the removal of their Personal Data collected and processed, it being stipulated that the deletion of their data will also mean the closure of their Account.
